To this day, I remember as a boy when I saw an albino red-eared slider turtle. Now I was really into dinosaurs and reptiles, specifically turtles... so this albino was top-drawer awesomeness. This little guy's skin and shell were pure bright white. Add in an electric green shell outline and the trademark fire red slash on his "ear" and you get a reptile version of a Geisha, or the Joker, or Sammy Sosa. I told everybody that would listen about my amazing find in this turtle.
Fast forward twenty years, and I still think lots of stuff is neat-o and want to share that with my friends. So here's to all the albino turtles that cross our paths.
